Storage heat exchanger is a type of partition heat exchanger. It separates hot and cold fluids with solid walls and realizes heat transfer through the walls. It is mainly composed of channel boxes, tube bundles and shells, featuring large water storage capacity, stable water supply and remarkable temperature drop of heat medium.
Storage heat exchangers are widely used in various fields. In civil buildings, they serve heating and domestic hot water supply systems for hotels, guesthouses, hospitals, schools, residential quarters and other facilities, and are especially suitable for scenarios with concentrated water consumption hours and large fluctuations in water demand. In industrial production, they are applied to process heating, cooling and heat energy recovery in chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, food processing and other industries. In the energy sector, they are adopted for boilers, steam generators and cooling systems of power plants, as well as waste heat recovery of blast furnace gas in the iron and steel industry. In addition, they are used for heat recovery in refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and hot water supply for public facilities such as large venues and commercial complexes.
